SPIRIT

As I drove home after running errands, the spirit of the Lord enveloped me, tears formed and my spirit rejoiced. I thought, in spite of my past and present sins, the Creator has blessed me greatly. I said, present sins, because as humans we sin daily. I began to communicate with the Creator, and thanked him for giving me his grace.

During my conversation with the Creator today, the Creator wanted me to reflect on the road that I have traveled. I don’t rejoice, because I was reminded of the negative things I have done, that was not pleasing. You see, the Creator, has loved me in spite of me, and didn’t hold my wrongdoings against me. The Creator forgave me, and afforded me the opportunity to ask for forgiveness. Proverbs 3:5-6 of the Bible states, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

By allowing the Creator to direct our path, our path will become brighter and more productive. But, if the decision is made to remain in darkness, and not allow the Creator to guide, then there is this continuous bumping into a brick wall. And, the brick wall(s) will remain, because of the unwillingness to let go of the negative things of the world. Therefore, on this day, consider what you are doing that does not please the Creator and try to change it. Think about the brick wall(s) you keep running into, and ask the Creator to help you tear them down. I asked the Creator to help me, and each day when a negative wall is erected—with his help, I tear it down.

Matthew 6:33 of the Bible states, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." It doesn’t say when the things will be added, it says seek ye first. Throughout my journey, I have never forgotten this. I’ve gotten what I needed to sustain me daily, because of the Creator’s grace. Each of us receive blessings, and our blessings are not the same. Therefore, refrain from feeling envious of another person’s blessings; your blessings were designed especially for you—whatever is provided for you, be thankful and do not take your blessings for granted.

I’m grateful; the Creator Loved me enough, to allow me to reach the beautiful age of 60ish. I can honestly say; I have been BLESSED beyond what I can measure. In man’s eyes I’m poor. In the Creator eyes I’m rich. Rich is not money, rich is having the direction of the Creator—with his guidance you will have enough to sustain you while you’re in the land.

Today, in this NOW moment, thank the Creator for the gift of this day, and his protecting Spirit that guide us daily. We all have gifts because of the Spirit of the Lord, who was sent to be with us and remind us of God's truth. The Holy Spirit is our helper, companion, and more.

This day the Creator allowed you to wake up, and have the mobility to get out of bed. Allowed you to breathe, see, hear, touch, and much more. Tomorrows are not promised, so, this day you have the opportunity to walk hand in hand with the Creator, you have the opportunity to tear down the wall(s), you have the opportunity to produce positive results.

Enjoy this day, and when it’s time to rest, rest with the Creator in the Spirit.
